ABOUT US

We are small kennel, located in a small town about 15 minutes north of Saint Ignace in Moran, MI. My passion for this breed started in 2015 when we added our first Labrador Retriever to our home. My goal was to establish a strong program, one that consisted of, most importantly, healthy dogs, but also ones that came from hunt test titled pedigrees. 

I have spent numerous hours researching potential additions to add to our kennel, only making sure the right ones fit. They will be correct for confirmation, good appearance, intelligence, great dispositions and temperament. All coming from health tested parents, lineage and performance pedigrees. 

We are consistently learning on a daily basis and soaking up as much knowledge as we can to improve our love for the breed.

I began running AKC hunt tests in the Summer of 2020. I never felt more hooked and in love with the sport until I ran my first one by myself in October 2020. My goals and dreams of continuing in this sport only grew more that weekend. I want to be able to show the workability and trainability in my dogs that can then be passed down to offspring, providing your family with a dog fit for the duck blind, hunt tests or forever in your home as a family companion.

When you get a puppy from U.P. Labradors, you become family. I keep you as up to date as possible from time of heat cycle, breeding, ultrasound and X-rays that I do prior to birth. When puppies are born, I send weekly videos and photos and are happy to answer your questions at any time! I like to make you feel just as involved in the process in welcoming your puppy home.
